Why Drink Jasmine Tea?
Jasmine tea is a mixed tea, that is primarily green tea but sometimes black tea too with Jasmine blossoms mixed in. Ours is a green tea base! Because of this, you can imagine that it carries a lot of the same benefits of green tea, with a nice aroma from the blossoms. Like most of our teas it is full of antioxidants, catechins and polyphenols. Great for aiding in decreased inflammation, weight loss, oral health, improved blood sugar, reduced heart disease risk and so much more. What Does it Taste Like?
Green tea has a grassy taste with a bit of a tartness and bitterness to it. Jasmine tea is no exception but the Jasmine blossoms carry in a nice floral aroma that can only be described as full bodied and fresh. The added Jasmine is the perfect compliment. Bitter and sweet for a enjoyable cup. If you like sweet and subtle with a ton of health benefits then this is the tea for you. Scientific research says that 3-5 cups of green tea a day is the optimal amount for gaining the most health benefits. That is not hard to do when you choose this tea to enjoy!
How to Brew the Perfect Cup?
Boil water to 175 degrees, take of the heat and swirl in the tea leaves. Let steep for 3 minutes, strain and enjoy. Use these leaves again once per your taste.
